I was just talking to a customer relations person at SIG and he indicated that the early Mosquitos had some problems by using too lightly loaded ammo. I should have asked him then and there, but I didn't. Can anyone out there suggest some brands of ammo that should be the preferred ammo? Thanks.

I run CCI mini-mags in mine. It loves them. I do not have any issues at all.

What about the Federal bulk .22 jacketed ammo that Walmart sells in 550 packs?

Does anyone shoot this in their Mosquito?

I use federal in mine. After 150 rounds or so i start getting fail to ejects. You have to strip it down and give it a quick clean.

Mine has been fed a steady diet of Remington Golden Bullets w/ no problems. My GSG5 also likes this ammo.

I stick to the Rem golden bulk boxes. Mine would FTRB for the first three rounds on Fed bulk.

I use either CCI Blazer or Winchester Super X in mine. Both work like a champ. Unfortunately, the first Mosquito I bought had to be returned to Sig and it was so gooned up they sent me back an entirely new pistol. Good on Sig.

CCI products work well in mine.

Mini-mags are great.
Green Tag are very nice.
Remington Golden Bullets are a bit dirty and go bang unless you get a bad lot.
Walmart Federal bulk work but expect the occasional problem.
CCI Blazers work but there are a few more problems then Federal bulk at times.
Federal Champion work about the same as the Blazers do. They might even be the same round.

My Favorites are Mini-mags and Green tag. The Green tag will group better. This is what I have found. I suggest shooting a few hundred Mini-mags in any new Mosquito to get it broken in and after that try any of these rounds and see what works for you.

I have an older Mosquito and have had good luck with with the Mini-Mags and with Rem Goldens. The light spring seems to work best. I will get an occasional FTE even with Mini-mags when using heavy spring, generally on one of the first few rounds out of the magazine. Before each trip to the range, I make sure to add 1 drop of oil in that little hole on the slide.

Mine seems to feed only on CCI MiniMags.... Every other ammo I have tried has had some FTF or FTE problems..... I have at least 1000 rounds thru mine now.
