It comes in a white box and the bullet looks alot like the Ranger design. $25/50 just seems too good to be true!

Was/is this the new round that the FBI spec'ed out?
Never mind Q4355 is the FBI spec'ed round.

Those look like the Ammoman.com photos. If you'll notice on the first photo on his site, there's a Z beside the product code. Z is an indicator of the product not meeting QA testing standards for being marketed as LE ammo.

It is terrible ammo, causes misfeeds and failures. Please send to my address, and I will dispose of it as quick as possible. Big Grin

It is the Winchester Supreme Elite Bonded PDX1 round. Very good (new) stuff that the FBI adopted. Should give the Speer Gold Dot a run for its money. You lucked out and found it in 50 rd LEO packaging which is cheaper than the 20 rd commercially available packaging.

Do you know what exactly is sub par?
Usually, when military/LE ammo is sub par and sold on the civilian market, aren't they typically labeled by machine and not by hand? (e.g. XM193PD).

I bought a case from Ammoman and shot a box of it yesterday. Worked great.

These have some kind od RED DYE around the primars. I do not see this on those inside the civilian 20 round box.

That is most likely a sealer, some LEO/Military ammo is spec'ed for sealed primers. Or it may not be spec'ed that way, but without a sealer there would be no way to pass a submersion test.

You're right; there is some red stuff. Doesn't seem to produce any adverse effect.
