Just curious as to what kind of ammo is in your 45. Just picked up a P220 & loaded it with Corbon 185gr DPX.

All 230 grain.

Blazer brass ball ammo for the range.

Carry with Speer Gold Dot, but also have Federal HST and Winchester Ranger T.

Let's see . . . currently in P220 Carry and H&K USPc I have Federal HST 185 +P. In P245 I have Remington Golden Saber 230. The 185 +P simply packs a tad too much punch for me to get the P245 back onto target fast enough, while the 230 gr. is soft enough to get the smaller gripped P245 back onto the target quickly.

Bought a case of 230 gr Gold Dots. So- that...

325NG, 1911, 220, P45- whatever. GDHP.

Rem Golden Sabers are great, I would tote the HST or the Winchester Supreme stuff as well. Not much you can do wrong with good quality stuff.
Black Hills is good and a good deal when you can find it also....

It depends. I like 230gr RemGS in my full size & 185grWSTHP or 200grXTP in my lt.wt. or OM.

230 gr +P TAP in my P220 Stainless Elite.

43 oz of stainless steel shrugs off the +p oomph.

Double Tap 185 JHP / 200 JHP / 230 JHP for comp/HD.

What ever 230 ball I can find for target but the American Eagle is the dirtiest of them all. Will leave lots of unburned powder on your arms and face, I mean a LOT and not just a little residue either. Got some of that cheap and now I know why!

185 +p Powerball in my 1911.. Ranger T's and Federal HST in everything else. Last time ammunitiontogo.com had HST's in stock, I wasted too much money so I have plenty left. guess that was a smart move!
