On page three of my last Cheaper-Than-Dirt catalog I noticed an info-ad on something called DRT ammunition. Touted to be a highly accurate and highly efficient frangible round. These qualities conferred by a special powder core construction that takes maximum advantage of spin forces.

Anyone try this stuff, or know more about it? What's so different about it over, say, Glaser Safety Slugs or SinterFires?

Dynamic Research Technologies (If nothing else, this is a chance to see the Mandrell sisters getting frangible Wink)

I was hoping someone had answered your question by now because I too saw the add (and the videos of the sisters) am interested in this ammo. I guess someone is going to have to lay down the $60+ and give the forum a review, huh?

I've read that it is best to use the same ammo your local LE use...if you were involved in a shooting with this stuff I wonder if the media and defense would make a big deal out of it?

Why use DTR when you can now have newly created XRBR ammo.

Xtreme Rabid Badger Rounds signal a paradigm shift in home defense and anti-terrorism ammunition. Utilizing the same state of the art technology that puts foam dinosaurs in those plastic capsules that dissolve in hot water, I've been able to enhance what would be otherwise boring hollowpoint ammunition with a rabid badger core. The exact process is like, totally secret and proprietary.

Upon striking the body of your target, a rabid badger is unleashed through a process that involves a lot of really hard to understand math and physics calculations, and possibly some magic. The resulting stopping power goes beyond devastating, and is actually completely unable to be measured. In every ballistic test conducted, the badger ate the gelatin block, and then quickly turned on the testers.

My cores use very expensive laboratory grade badgers that are 99.9% pure, and 100% insane with rabies.

The shock of a rabid badger bursting from a teammate's body and then going totally nuts adds a psychological warfare element unmatched by any other ammunition maker in the industry today. To further enhance this, I took a cue from the A-10 Warthog, and painted a scary face on each and every round.

Already in use by Elite Team Fighting and many other highly trained special operations forces around the world, XRBR rounds represent the zenith in small arms ammunition technology. Get yours today!

As a simple ol' country boy lawyer I am hesitant to use any SD ammo not used by either my local PD or another recognized big-city PD--purely for legal liability reasons--esp when it is well-known PD slang that DRT = Dead Right There!!--dmd

I hate to bumb up this old thread, but I was just searching to see if anybody had posted on this already and I have to say this is some of the funniest shit I have read.

I have a lot of questions about an ammo when they feel the need to put pretty girls on the box and use the phrase "the big sandbox". If you mean Iraq, say Iraq. The big sandbox could mean any area with sand that your 3 year old was playing dump trucks in. If anyone has any experiance with this I would like to know, but I don't really expect any responses.

Never mind the DRT or Badger foolishness, I'm talking the mother of all projectiles.

The "wife with PMS" round.

Here's another problem. When fired, the PMS round goes off in every direction...
