I bought a box of this round just to see what they are like. It is an odd looking bullet. Has anyone tired firing these in a Sig 556 or AR15?

I have shot some, I bought it on a whim becasue it is sub sonic and I wanted to see what it was like through the a suppressor.

Turns out, as much as I hate to admit it, it works damn good!

It's 2" low at 25 yards through the supressor & it cycles the gun.

Once you chamber a round you need to shoot it. We had a few rounds we tried to unchamber and the bullet pulled free of the brass and dumped powder into the gun. It happened in 3 different gun we were playing with.

It's very quiet when shooting suppressed. Think 22 suppressed quiet.

In my opinion, the whole Extreme Shock line is a complete gimmick. The rounds have not proven reliable in most guns, the "bullets" don't penetrate more than 4 or 5" before breaking up and stopping. It's a complete sham, a hustle, a gimmick, see?

I (and many others) have said it a million times, stick with proven, reliable factory ammunition, or even better, you're own carefully crafted, tailored hand loads.

It's a novelty, intended to make a large profit per pack because no-one will ever buy more than one box.

Thank you for the advice.
