I've been wanting one of these for a long time. I purchased a new HK USP .45 Tactical in 2000 and that empty pouch for a suppressor has been nagging me for 8 years...

After much research and discussion, I decided to go with a YHM...

What a hoot.

Me and a friend had the range to ourselves until a couple of guys showed up with a S&W 460 and began blasting away.... In a show of un-ups-manship, I screwed on the can, poured down a cap full of what and said, "hey, listen to this!"

I figured since the .45 was already subsonic, it would be a nifty way to go... absolutely no regrets. Wet, it's impressively quiet. At first I think they thought I was shooting .22 shorts...

I've ordered another can for my AR10 SASS.... but not expecting the same degree of suppression.

but that tacticool fake can looked so good on the SASS =) how long did it take you to get your tax stamp back?

BTW the annodized OD optic on your AR is the bomb.

It took abought 12 weeks to get the tax stamp in. I suspect it will be faster with the can for SASS as I'm going to be going through a different vendor.

The optics; I didn't have much choice on color. It was the only one available that suited my needs at the time...
