I just purchased one of these and started looking around for what's available. I had no idea they had a stock similar to that of "Grock." I have to say, I am really impressed with the Steyr so far. Fit, finish, ergonomics are the first things I've noticed. $339.00 is some deal!

Oh, that's not mine. In fact, I just ran across this pic while trying to track down threaded barrels for this model. I saw a used Steyr on Steyr Club for $280.00 !!!!

That rig was parted out - the owner sold the stock to another member on SteyrClub and I believe sold of the M9 and barrel (though he kept the Evo-9 Razz). That guy also had a red dot and mount for it (which he also sold). IGB Austria sells a carbine kit that is the stock + 16" barrel - I believe the cost approaches $450 (it's been awhile since I priced it and the euro to dollar conversion makes things hazy). Just the stock can be had for (slightly) less, but then you are out $200 for the SBR tax stamp.

The biggest problem with trying to assemble that kid of kit is that IBG Austria has absolutely abysmal customer service and your odds of getting what you order are pretty low. Even if you get it, you are up a creek if it breaks - one of our members at SteyrClub has had to send back three barrels and has been struggling to get something (a refund or fixed barrels) for OVER a year.

You can't beat the pistols for the value, though. And they sounds great with a suppressor!

(ACTUAL sound is more on par with a pneumatic roofing nailer - the video is flattering)
