Has anyone had their 226 .22 Conversion Kit threaded and adapted yet for use with a can? If so please chime in and tell us who you got to do the work and how you like it. Cool

I have been waiting and watching this thread to see if anyone else is doing this, because I am debating on this myself.

I would love a threaded barrel for my conversion kit. I would buy one of those in a heartbeat. Come on barrel makers, build us one.

Go to this website http://www.tornado-technologies.com/, he can do the conversion for you. He is threading my Advantage Arms kit for my glock 17 right now.
This isnt mine but this is how the owner of tornado said he would thread one of the sig kits. Also if you go to http://www.silencertalk.com the owner of tornado technologies posts as AAA. Good luck with the kit and post some pics when you get it done.

So how did you get the longer barrel for your Glock 17? Is that from a Glock 34 kit? Let us know how it works out.

Yes, I did. My kit is packed up and going out in tomorrow's mail.

He threads the current barrel and then attaches a piece to those threads that lengthens the barrel. That piece has the threads that the suppressor attaches to. You can see this in the picture above, how the two metals are slightly different.

The cost is $150, lead time is 3 weeks. When I get it back I will post some pics and a range report.

Kilroy, holdem answered the question correctly. If you look at the other pic you can see what Tornado Tech does. It is also for a Advantage Arms 22lr kit for a G17.

Here is my gun with my SWR Warlock on it. It isnt in the pic but I also got a thread protector for the barrel so it will look stock if I dont want the suppressor on it.

How well does it work with the can?

Does the barrel recoil, or is it fixed?
