I'm researching putting a suppressor on 9mm pistols (Sig P250, XD9 service, HK P2000) and have seen some statements indicating that the sights cannot be used because the larger diameter of the suppressor obscures the target. Is this correct, and if so, are higher sights available to address this issue or are there any cans that don't cause this problem?
It really depends on the can, the gun, and the stock sights. Some sights are really low to the gun, and are unusable, while others have just enough to clear smaller cans like the Evo 9, on certain guns.

Look at the video I posted above. It does Not have tall sight, and it seems to work fine for the shooter... But it is Bruce shooting the gun, and he did mention the fact it could use some taller sight... but if you're a real man you don't need no stinking sights.....
