If I had to guesstimate... the number is probably closer to 15-16k forms before the buzzer !

Silencer Shop said they sent $2,000,000 in tax stamp money for that day, so that's where I got the 10,000 figure.

Anything to create a panic!

With the info you give them for permission, they don't need your fingerprints if they want to find you.

Submitted three form1s on 7/10/16 (efile/trust)
Got the first one of them back today.
Based on the control numbers... there's about 90 submissions between this one and my next one.

That sucks ... these wait times are ridiculous.

However my longest wait was 335 days which was shortly after Sandy Hook.

Just think though, they will soon come to an end once the backlog is gone through it'll probably be down around 45-60 days ... even using the USPS instead of the Internet.

I'd expect a good drop off in wait times as well. Especially once they get to ones submitted after the election.

Fwiw, my longest wait was 15 months to the day post sandy hook. My shortest is about a month, but my lawyer had one that was marked 3 days (technically longer, but it sat in draft status for a month or so when eforms originally had issues and went down).

The second of the three just came in about 20 minutes ago.
Damn that's a long wait for things I submitted just minutes apart.
