Missing His Jeep

The Outback II test a little better then the Mite. John @ Silencer Research did a pretty good review on a fair number of 22 suppressors.

I have an SWR warlock and a gemtech outback II and I have a friend with a Mite. The Warlock is a bit quieter than the Outback II through a pistol. The warlock has a bit more first round pop than the OB II. The Mite is considerably louder than both the other two by a wide margin both for FRP and overall. I'd say the outback II was the best buy and the quietest overall considering the FRP of the Warlock. The Mite is cleanable. The OB II is the lightest and smallest of any of them.
IMHO the best 22 can is none of these. The SWR spectre has the same internal design as the Warlock but its all stainless, is cleanable and is rated full auto on 17 hmr , 22 magnum , 22 lr and the other 17 rimfire. Long wait time and more expensive though.
SWR has great customer service and makes great products. Gemtech makes a great 22 can and they do stand behind them. The rest of their line sucks though. YHM can be problematic customer service wise from what I understand.

Nice choice of a host. I ordered a spectre and I'm just waiting for ATF to do their job. My buddies bought a Mite in SS. Can't wait to compare.
I don't need no teenage queen, all I need is my M-14

I have a p22 with a Warlock and my g17 slide is being threaded for my Prodigy that I am about 3 weeks away from getting. I cant wait to try them out side by side but I think I already know what the outcome will be. People are saying that the Prodigy is great on a rifle but not on a pistol, but I won the Prodigy so I cant complain, not that I would. I would definatley look into the SWR Spectre, it is a little on the heavier side but an awesome can.
