Well, I decided to sell my jeep. I'm hoping I can get about $3500 for it which will allow me to finish some projects.

Currently, I am almost done with an M14 build and stil have a stripped AR to finish.

I was thinking of building my AR into a 9mm. If I do, I want a suppressor that will work on my 9mm pistols that I can switch between my rifle as well. Is there a particular model that will fit the bill? I would like to stick with Adv. Arm. but will consider another maker if I need to.

I may also purchase a 30cal supperssor. If I do, will I e able to use it on a 223 effectively?

Thanks, Tony.

The Advanced Armament Evo 9 can change pistons so get a piston for your pistol and then a piston for your rifle.

I am getting a 3-lug mount for the Evo, a TROS 3-lug adapter for the AR and a MP5 3-lug flashhider. That should make the Evo 9 fairly fast to attach to the. That setup is not cheap.

I went with an SWR Trident for my 9mm AR and pistol. Rates better than the AAC stuff and costs about the same. Different mounts are available for different threads. I'm into it for about $740 plus the stamp for one fixed mount for the rifle and one nielson device mount for the pistol.

A 30 cal can will work close to the same on a 223 which is to say it will still sound louder than you think it should. Ive seen comparisons that show about a 3 dB spread when going from 30 cal to 223. Theyre still 140+ dB out of the can though which is getting into 22lr sound levels.

Just a note: you will not need a piston for the carbine set-up. These are needed for blowback pistols only.

To attach the EVO9 to a 9mm rifle, unscrew the rear end cap and replace the piston spring with the included sleeve. Reattach the rear end cap and apply suppressor to weapon. Smile
