I just purchased a P226R ASE that I'm going to use as a suppressor host.

Which would you recommend:
(1) purchase a SIG OEM threaded barrel and the appropriate piston for my suppressor
(2) purchase a SilencerCo threaded barrel that is already 1/2 x 28 tpi (I have a piston for that)
(3) purchase some other brand????

I used 1/2 x 28 with my Beretta 81FS and 1/2 x 36 with my Tavor Sars so I'm familiar with having to swap out the piston/fixed spacer.

Thanks for any info you may have.

SiCo... don't know who makes their barrels, but they are laser beam accurate!

Brownell's often has Silencerco and other 1/2x28 barrels for Sigs. Also try Bar-sto barrels, I've had them make several for me in different thread pitches for different guns.

I have multiple 1/2x28 SiCo barrels and they perform flawlessly. Highly recommend them

I ended up getting SIG OEM 9mm threaded barrels for my P226s and P229s. Bought the correct piston for my suppressor and everything works great.
