Here is the stats for my Suppressor form 4
[List]
  • Mailed on May 12th, 2008.

  • Signed for May 13th, 2008

  • Check cashed on May 15th, 2008.

  • Went pending on June 17th, 2008

  • Approved on July, 29th, 2008

  • Picked up on August 27th, 2008 (It seems my paperwork was lost in the mail for a few weeks. Based on the appearence of the envelope, I believe it!)

I bought the Gemtech Outback II .22 suppressor. It will be used on my Walther P22, my new Ruger Charger and a Top Secret/SCI, TK, Gamma, Nato, Atomal, HUMMINT, NOFORN, COMSEC, CRYPTO *EYES ONLY* Black weapon system that shall remain undisclosed until I get a few more details taken care of.

Gemtech Outback II on a Ruger Charger with a Tactical Solutions XRP Fluted Barrel. I just wish they would have made it in 1.00" diameter.

Close up of Tactical Solutions barrel with the Gemtech Outback II.

On the way home last night I tested it in the woods. It is quieter than a medium CO2 pistol and has virtually no muzzle flash at night.

I am to get the same can but I have one question. Do you need a adapter to the factory walther threads?

Yes you need an adaptor for walther p22's and SIG Mosquito's. The outback has 1/2x28 threads. I have an outback and a swr warlock and I get almost as good performance out of the outback and its $100 cheaper. FWIW the outback can be disassembled for cleaning. I know. Thats not what the owners manual says but one trip into a 400 F oven and the loctite that holds the end cap on melts and the cap will unscrew.

If you are asking about the Walther P22 pistol, yes you need a thread adapter. Easy as pie:
