and it's quite alright to reply by quoting your fav cowboy tv show or a display of your fav cartoon bud....I understand....really.

Several solutions I have used depending upon threads of weapons/cans.

Hi-temp O-ring applied to base of threads.
Teflon plumbers tape around threads.
Nord-Loc washer system.
and Glue type stuff like Loctite.

If using Loc tite..
do not use Green or Red...Blue loc tite should be plenty.

Some, if not all loctite colors are heat sensative, so be careful on that count.

It may work for this application, but it may not depending on how hot the suppressor/barrel combination gets.

There are loctite-like squirtable thread lockers that are not as heat sensative--names not coming to mind right now.

We use the blue on glass making equipment. It ought to be fine as long as your can isn't red hot. Wink Do NOT use the other colors. You will invent new bad words trying to get it apart again.

The Love Bandit. I gave her everything but my 226....

Rockset is what you need. Its breaking torque is about the same as blue loctite but it handles up to 1500 F . Its what several manufacturers recommend for silencers on full auto rifles.
