After the long wait for one, I really do not wanna have to wait again to have it plated.

What I mean is there an option, or even a suppressor company that does this, that I'm not aware of?

most of the quality pistol caliber can tubes are made out of aluminum or maybe titanium. you want a light weight can to aid cycling and steel, nickel, or chrome is not light.

neither al or ti plates well, but you could probably put an electroless nickel or ceramic coating on it if you gotta bling it out for your homies.

just make sure you can read the serial number and probably the manufacturer data otherwise you could very well end up with matching chrome plated steel bracelets, lighter bank account, and a ten year all inclusive vacation courteous of the justice dept.

Thanx.

This is not for bling, it is to match. I do not want a 2 tone look.

Well, I guess I need to keep looking, I just saw and heard what one of those sounds like mounted on a G19 with using 147gr subsonic, loud as hell, with a report even with the subsonic. Probably not long enough.

I wish the Gemtech Aurora was still available. That thing was awesome, but it did use wipes.

You got too choices, find an off beat can company that makes a stainless, or similar looking pistol can. That may or may not have an acceptable amount of noise reduction. And may or may not cycle on your gun.

Or forget about matching and pick the best cans on the market, and forgot about whether or not it matches.

I've used this place in the past for other purposes. the poly-ond works well on aluminum; slick surface makes it easy to clean.

I don't think too many of the finishing or plating company's are class 3 dealers.

They wouldnt have to be class 3 dealers. A standard type 1 ffl is good enough for servicing an existing NFA item. They are not selling or manufacturing .

Dave at Liberty Suppressors should be able to hook you up no problem. He does nice custom work. Same thing with Doug at SRT.

if you are present during the coating they don't have to have any type of ffl or sot, i.e. no transfer has occurred.

I would call someone like John's guns or liberty suppressors. They can hook you up with something exactly like what you're looking for that also functions and sounds great.
