Alright, I am a Missouri native stationed out of state with the U.S. Navy. On my orders, I was able to purchase 2 suppressors in South Carolina.

I understand that with the passage of HB 2034, I will be alllowed to bring my suppressors home, yet as I read it, it seems that there is a hoop or two I need to jump through.

Any one know specifically what those hoops are?

Since your question is state specific, I suggest you go to www.missouricarry.com and pose your question.

You'll get a precise answer in no time.

Your only hoop for MO will be that they require a federal firearms license, so assuming you don't want to become a firearms dealer you need the Federal C+R Collectors license, pretty cheap.

If the C&R is all that you need then all you would be out is $30 and about six weeks of wait-time. Surplusrifle.com has pretty detailed instructions on what to do.

Easy process to get the C&R, just received mine yesterday.

Call the ATF request an application, fill out application send one copy to your chief law enforcement officer and one copy with a $30 payment to the ATF. Took about 3 weeks total.

Good Luck!

By the way Governor Blunt signed the bill into law on june 26th! Woot

Just remember that suppressors aren't legal in Missouri until Aug 28th. (provided you have the minimum class 03 license)

went into my local class III shop, provided a signed copy of my C&R license and payed them 750 for a new SWR HEMS2 .45cal suppressor

It will be about 3 weeks before it arrives then comes the application, fingerprints, two photographs and a $200 check all sent to BATFE

Will update after the application gets sent off.

They are legal, if you put in the time to get the right 'credentials,' which is why I posed the question. Stationed out of state, I had a chance to amend my collection quite nicely. Just making sure that I can take it all back in with me.

Having NFA weapons in MO always required a federal license, most just got the C+R collectors license, the only thing that has changes is now they allow Silencers, where they did not before. So now silencers also require C+R license minimum.
