The standard FBI fingerprint card has space for reason fingerprinted and ORI. For the Form 4 submission what do you say in these two boxes? Thanks in advance.

I got all my Finger print cards directly from BATFE, they mailed me a bunch for free.

If I recall correctly the ORI is the BATFE and the reason would be for a ATF Form 4

*** you need a agency ID number :

"If you do not have an ORI Number you will need to contact the FBI, CJIS Division, CCA File Unit, at (304) 625-4543"


pulled that off a web search, you could also call NFA branch, they're nice people and helpful

BATF said to put Form 4 in the reason for fingerprinted and to leave the OIR box blank. I'm good to go.
