Tom and Michelle, thanks for taking care of my Blade Tech order.

As always, great service.

Tom I have seen a few people say that they got Equinox Grips from you but I don't see them on your site. Do you not have them listed? Also can you explain the differences and uses for the 3 types (weights) of the slide glide that you have as it would relate to use on a Sig? I sent in a small order Sunday and received it in three days as promised (great service, I'll be back)

We had a few sets of Equinox grips about a year ago, but they are all sold. They are not currently available from SIG as a seperate purchase, so we are not able to get more.

Lite Applications:

30+ degrees F
Centerfire Pistols: Compensated & Non-compensated ("Stock-type")
Rifles: All action types inc. Lever Actions
Shotguns: All action types
Revolvers (Internal action parts only - not for the cylinder)
.22's
All carry guns applied extremely sparingly (for maximum reliability)
Slide-Glide Lite's viscosity is blended specifically for "IPSC Open guns" in any temperature, and also works great on the Glock's "connector."

Medium Applications:

50+ degrees F
Centerfire Pistols: Non-compensated only ("Stock-type")
Rifles: Semi-auto's only
Shotguns: All action types
Slide-Glide #1's standard viscosity was originally blended for stock-type pistols in temperatures above 50 degrees. It's a little "too thick" for compensated pistols, .22's, and revolvers.

Heavy Applications:

80+ degrees F only
Centerfire Pistols: Non-compensated ("Stock-type") only!)
Great for Glocks and pistols with "loose top ends"
Slide-Glide #3's heavy viscosity is specifically blended for pistols with "loose top ends" (frame to slide fit). In temperatures above 80 degrees, it also works well in all stock-type centerfire pistols.

Hey Tom,
I see on your site that the Chip McCormick (sku1163) mags are out of stock. Are you expecting any in soon?
Thanks.

No, they do not. The 7RD magazines (most) lock the base plate in place using the spring itself. The 8RD magazines use an insert to lock the base plate.

All of the P series SIG's have the same dovetails, so it is only a matter of matching the front sight height number with whatever is on there. Tru-Glo only has #6 and #8 fronts. We do not carry the front only.

Question:

Do the rubber base pads for the SIG P226 replace the original base plate? If so, what it the length of the rubber base plate?

They are exact replacements for the original base plates. They add about 1/8" thickness with the rubber. Otherwise they are the same dimensions of the current factory metal base plates.

Is the current base pad the longer one?

Yes they are by about .080". The old style German base plates are the shorter ones.

I have a Sig factory 20 round mag in 9mm for my P226 and I wanted to know if there is a "boot" I can get for the bottom of the mag so that it has a flush fit look instead of just sticking out the bottom of the grip?

There isn't one that I am aware of. The 17RD and 18RD are flush fitting, but the 20RD sticks out.
