-M1A SUPER Match Springfield, Walnut stock. Stainless Douglass Barrel. The only blemish I could find anywhere on the rifle was a small ding in the wood on the forend. See the photo's it's the spot with the black arrow pointing to it.

-Gen 2 Springfield Armory Scope mount

-Redfield 3x9x40 scope with Butler Creek flip open covers. As you can see, someone got on the scope with a can of OD green paint. But they did do a pretty decent job with it. I'm just glad they didn't do the rifle.

-Hard plastic "Gun Guard" case (Initials "RAJ" in yellow on both ends)

-Magazines
-1-5 round mag
-9-20 round mags
-1-30 round mag

-1 magazine carrier, holds 8 20 round mags perfectly. Although it was obviously not designed for the M1A, it's some foreign knock off. It works great. Leather straps and all.

-4 SEALED Battle Packs (140 rounds in each pack)
-420 rounds of boxed ammo, same as what is in the battle packs they are just not sealed
-That is a total of 980 rounds of military ball ammo (About $900 worth of ammo)

-2 ammo cans, if you want them included I'll ship most of the ammo packed in those.

According to the original owner, he put maybe 100 rounds through it, and to my knowledge my dad has never shot it at all. (This rifle is technically his, I am trying to sell it for him.

Looking for a decent AR or 556 rifle, or something like that and $2500 cash. (open to negotiation)

Well yeah...that was the plan.
The gun itself waws $3200 new and it only has about 100 rounds down it.
Plus another $1k in ammo almost. I figure it's worth that. But like I said...open to negotiation!

I think what really needs to happen is snatch the scope off the thing. Whoever took the task of painting it green....well, I won't go there.

I'm sure the scope came from another rifle but it does look kinda cheesy with that on it.

I would email you because I think it's a neat rifle for sure and I've got an M14 itch, but I'm afraid any offer I would suggest would not be tenable. Probably not anywhere even close to what you need.

I agree that you might ditch the glass, but no savings there of any significant magnitude. The ammo would have to be a hell deal in order to justify shipping costs (weight/lead is a killer.) Good luck SJ - neat gun!
