I have a brand new never fired, other than factory test round, Service model XD 40 with 4x12rd Springfield original mags.

I am looking to trade for a P239 in 9 or 40 in a none abused fully functional and with full documentation and original case.

Long story short I purchased two XD's (great package deal from a store loosing their FFL) one sub-compact and one full service model in 40S&W. I like the sub-compact but don't have any use for the service model, I own P229 40 and P226Navy 9, so the XD Service model is on the bottom of the preference list...

I am looking for a straight up trade for a P239 in any configuration but in good shape.

Ok how about trade or sell asking $450 which includes 48 state shipping.

Is this that bad of a deal? I'll take any feedback regarding what's wrong with this trade or sale request...

their really isnt a "want" for the service model. i tried selling one on here a while back and no hits. i brought it to the gun shop and they booked it at right around $400 for 98-100%.
hope it sells

Part of it might be your newness. But mostly it's my 239 used is worth more than my XD40 was new.

I looked at the spec’s for the service model .40{there are several models} could you tell me more about the model you have? Things like color, does it have night sights things like that. Thanks, Mark

Just ensure my 11 years of Marine Corps experience and 30 years of shooting experience wasn't a complete waste I checked the latest shooters bible. A used P239 with night sites at 90% is worth about $500 including the $70 sight premium. So the XD is worth about $550 brand new and I'm asking $450 sounds like a ok deal. Just making sure my docs are in order!

Honestly its a service model... The compact has a shorter grip... Your right 3 is enough!
