The 1st P229 version is for the railed P229 only and should be out soon, next year Sig is coming out with a model for the P229 without the rail which will also be good for the P228.

Greg.

I got my 17 rounder with the x-grip today. As usual, it was a pleasure to do business.

Thanks again.

As for the rest of the folks on this forum... If you need mags, look at usaoz. His prices are very fair, and he ships quickly, and he has great factory mags. I've ordered four times from him and will do more in the future.

Greg -

Received the Surefire E2D yesterday. No problems, works great. It goes with me from now on when I walk the dog.

[Not the first time I've done business with Greg; he's been great each time.]

Also will the Mec-Gar +2 butt plates fit on a 229 mag ?

Thanks

The Mec-Gar +2 adapters don't work on the P228/P229 magazines. Also the P220 magazines are the new style.
