I sold the SLR 93 I was going to send you. But luckly I have obtained an 225 that could use the frame refinished. Since I have a P6 with you getting the all stainless on it and all 3 mags. I was thinking of sending the 225 frame in and get it done in BTM. It would make a nice two tone and the slide is in good shape.

Since you have an ffl I can just send you the frame can't I? Last time I sent the whole gun to you through my ffl, but this time I would like to avoid the $ 40.00 shipping charge.

Finally, do I need to make an reservation? or just send it in. I plan on simply taking off the slide and wipe down the frame and send it and the mag in for BTM. I do want the decocker done in black. I got to see some of your work first hand on a P6 frame, it was BTM and man it looked simply awesome. Let me know about shipping direct and the reservation. I want to get this out as soon as possible.

You can only ship a frame to an FFL if you are shipping out of state otherwise it is a felony to ship a frame to an unlicensed party even if it is only to have work done on it.

You should always request the FFL's number so you can go to the easy check on the ATF website and make sure you are dealing with a legal licensed company

I am a FFL so you can ship the frame directly to me yourself via UPS or FedEx.

Well thanks. I had heard that before and forgot it. I will drop it off at the LGS as soon as you give me the information about the reservation. Shoot if I have to send it through him I might as well send the whole gun.

Would be neat to have one in all stainless and one in a two tone or reverse two tone. Also, the 225 is in preatty good shape save for the grip screws. I would want them replaced also.

Can you quote me a price to refinish a 239 frame and smooth out these nicks?

What I would do it completely strip the frame and remove the old finish without removing the anodizing. They repair the damage and recoat the frame and its controls using my Cera-Hide coating.

I have a gun that was refinished by CCR in CERA-HIDE. I also had one refinished elsewhere (not a dealer on SF) in CeraKote.

From my experience, CERA-HIDE is much more durable.
