Interested in setting one of these up and have some questions. Is the email in your profile the best place to send them?

I finally got around to getting this done and man was it easy. I recently had a family trust done and the estate attorney was "not comfortable" writing up a gun trust. I told him no problem, I have a idea where I can get it done right. Then of course I procrastinated until I happened to think of it while I had some time this evening and it took all of a few minutes. Awesome!

Heavy D is the man. He did mine and it is a pretty good thing to get as I later found out. Great guy to deal with, and a sig lover

Question that a local attorney has not answered for me when I inquired about a gun trust...If the county I reside in decided to Ban all Assault weapons as Boulder County, Colorado did last year...Will a Gun Trust prevent the County from confiscating my M1A's and AR15's that are not NFA weapons? I own no NFA weapons. But as I understand the only advantage to my having a gun trust is to allow my beneficiaries to inherit my firearms without going through a 4473 type check for each and every one. Am I correct on that.
Thank you in advance.

If you have got an NFA item that was done personally by going through the std. application process I assume it can transferred to a trust?

I guess I could use some insight as to doing this would be in my best interest.

Thanks

If you have a trust that could be better, heavyd can restate it for you so that you have more flexibility in adding/removing people or the like. He did mine and I couldn't be more pleased. Smile
