Want To Find...

I hear people talking about used "surplus" aimpoint's being sold quite cheaply. The lack of information on this makes me believe this to be less than true.

Do they exist? Has anyone bought one? Anyone here sell them?

Overall, I am just looking for a used Aimpoint, M3 M2, etc. if anyone here has one for sale.

A lot of the guys coming back are selling their optics on Ebay or Gunbroker. I haven't seen any source where they've been released straight from the government.

There is no fixed source for them, but they are out there. Most are privately owned optics that guys are selling off or police trade ins. Here is a list of the optics I have bought in the past:

Trijicon TA01 ACOG $420-used in Iraq, lots of wear, lens w/ mild scratches

Trijicon TA31F ACOG $550-used in Iraq, very little wear on body or lens

Trijicon Reflex NSN model $95-used in Iraq, moderate wear on body, lens are perfect

Aimpoint M2 $200-police trade in, moderate wear on body, lens are perfect

Aimpoint Comp M $125-police trade in, lots of wear on body and some scratches on the lens

I got these over the about a 8year time period. I don't know anybody special, but I do keep an ear to the ground and an eye on the ads (especially AR15.com). Now with that said, I don't want to talk about all the items I over paid for and sold or traded off cheap.
