3rd gen ITT night vision goggles, now $2,100 shipped cash.

The price of night vision has been mentioned, and I always think, what is it worth to be able to do something no one else can, in seeing wild game in the night you would never see? How much is it worth it to you if you had a power failure in your area due to an ice storm and were without power if in a rural area, or in a large city, and had to have 'tactical awareness' if worse came to worse and people were looting or worse with intent to do harm? Hopefully never, but I am sure those in the wake of hurricanes in Louisiana who had the ability to see in the night without being seen were glad they had a pair. The bottom line is you get what you pay for. People do not hesitate to buy a multi-thousand dollar rifle. Night vision devices are similarly 'high tech' and are complex electronic devices.

I tooks these out the other night with starlight and while I could not see 25 yards with my eyes, with this pvs7b could easily navigate, with thick woods on my left side of the trail and a 300 yard view ahead on a field. It has a black spot at 3 o'clock on the edge of the fov, nothing distracting or unusual, and i could not see it in the low light conditions. here are photos sent to me by the seller.

potential trades include watches, omega, strider knives, surefires, if in central Arkansas possibly some firearms, but i am firm at 2100 cash or trade value, which is below market pricing for this ITT unit.

robert

P.S. I have another US Night Vision, with head mount, green US Night Vision bag, and a new owner's manual, I would sell at $2,400 cash, which is what I paid in cash and is a better unit as the tube performs much better in very very low light. I would prefer to sell the $2,100 unit and keep this other for myself but will consider it if someone really wants the more expensive one. It has 2 dots i see at about 3'o clock and 9 o clock outside the center fov and honeycomb/spider web visible in very bright light situations as a 1/2 moon. it ;is almost too bright at a 1/2 moon as the tube really functions great. no tube sheet on it either.
