I've got a baby on the way, so it's time to sell some guns/stuff that are sitting in the safe.
First up is a West German Sig P220 in .45acp. Its date code indicates that it was made in 1995. Overall, it is in good condition with minimal bore wear, and parts wear. The slide-to-frame fight is very tight. It has an excellent point of aim, and is more accurate than me. I actually own 3 P220s, but this is my only stamped slide model and I have decided to stick with stainless models. I estimate that I have put 1000 rounds through it or so, and I am not the first owner. The only area of concern a potential buyer might have is the frame wear on the left side of the gun in front of the slide release lever cut. As you can see in the picture, some of the black coating was worn away and I inquired as to what caused it when I bought it. The guy I bought it from said that when he first noticed it he sent it to a gunsmith to look it over. The gunsmith replaced the slide release lever, smoothed out the contact point on the slide for the lever, and there was never a problem again. So, that wear has looked exactly the same since I bought it and hasn't gotten any worse. I love the gun, but my wife said I need sell "something". It comes with the original factory box, and one German 7rd magazine. I want SOLD shipped for the P220. I live in central Mississippi for a face to face. Discrete PayPal or USPS money order.
