I decided last month that it was time for a new folding knife for EDC. After hearing so many good things about Benchmade's Axis lock, I went ahead and ordered a Mini-Grip (556) to see what all the fuss was about. Love the knife. The Axis lock is intuitive, quick to deploy, and rock solid. Since then I've added a 943, an HK 14205, and a 710D2. Now I've got my eye on a 707 Sequel, an HK 14210, and a 530.
This could get ugly...

I just got a Mini Grip 556 too for father's day. Great little knife. Love the Axis lock mechanism - everything right where it should be and allows one handed operation.

I think I feel the fever coming on...

Yeah, welcome to club, er, I mean addiction.

I'm eyeballing a matching set of Presidio and mini-Presidio myself right now.

EZ_B, you have great taste in Benchmades Wink

I have.. twenty six Benchmades. My latest two are the 950 Rift and the 16707BT Blackwater Recurve.

Nice collection. I don't consider it a "Benchmade" bug myself but a "quality" bug. It goes the same with Sigs. I love Benchmades. I have had a lot of other production knives and Benchmade is the only ones that have held up over the years. When you make a quality product, people will buy it.

Love the Rift too myself. It is a really nice looking style of blade.

I'm no knife expert but do have a full and mini Grip and Ambush as well as a couple of the LE auto knives. Benchmade are tops from my experience.
