I recently purchased a benchmade 556 mini griptilian for EDC. It has been a really good little knife so far. My only problem is the pocket clip.

I can not seem to grip it very comfortably with the pocket clip. I was wondering if there are any replacement pocket clips for this model that would be smaller or that offer a more comfortable grip.

The Clip is the same as used on the full sized Grippi.

The 530 has a smaller clip, which will fit. (I own the Grip, Mini-Grip and the 530 as well)

Sorry for the crappy pic, but you get the idea.
Drow BM a mail, my guess is, they will send you one...

Funny thing is, without the clip, the Mini ist to small to be comfortable for me...

So the 530 clip is interchangeable with the mini grip 556 ?

Also are there any after market manufacturers of good clips that work with the mini grips ?

Thanks for the help.

I've been carrying the minigrip for a couple of weeks now. Took the clip off after 2 days. I like it much better this way. Great knife BTW.

I've contemplating doing the same with mine but there may be times when the clip could be really useful.

Due to the size of the blade on the mini grip it would be completely legal in my state to carry it in the pocket completely concealed.

I know this might sounds stupid but is there such thing as a holster for knives like these ?

Luckily, most modern BM's have the same three-hole design for the clip attachment.

Here's what I do with most of my BM EDC's. I remove the standard clip, and replace it with the clip from the economy BM Pika (the small one). These clips fit perfectly, actually are more secure, and conceal the knife deeper.

Call BM and order one. They may even send one to you for free if you're nice. Smile

Agony, that is one great suggestion. CoolI too is somewhat uncomfortable with the clip but don't want to remove it due to its purpose. Thanks for the great input. I will definitely consider this.

Agony, nice lanyard. How is that on an EDC?

CAAT1,
Hope it works for you! Smile

Brad,
That lanyard is a simple hangman's noose, identical to what CRK puts on their Sebenzas. If you go to the CRK website, they show how to tie the lanyard.
I like lanyards on everything (phone, knives, flashlight) so I can get it out of the pocket easier.

Thanks. I'm thinking about ordering one of Kurtiss's snakeknot ones in red and black for my Surefire and I've thought that it would make my Griptillian easier to keep track of. I'll check out the instructions. Thanks again.
