Finally got my hands on a Sebenza! This is a large classic all silver with a stonewashed blade next to my Strider SMF.

The Stider is much bigger all around. Both have S30V blades but the Sebenza is a lot thinner. Smooth feeling pivot! I still feel the Strider is a much tougher knife overall but I like the attention to detail of the Sebenza.

The Sebenza feels better in my hand but up to a point. When gripping it hard, the Strider is more secure and least likely to slip or move around under hard use due to the shape of the handle, it locks into your palm.

Nice score!! Every serious collector needs at least one Strider and one Sebenza. That said, I don't have a Sebenza YET. I'll walk that plank one day, I'm sure. Again, Great score!!

Great knives. I love the lines of the Sebenza.

Sebs rule! A lot of knives have come and gone through my collection--even a Strider, but my Sebenzas remain and get used regularly.

My Seb's are the older versions in the BG-42 blade steel. I have a Strider too, it's nice but it isn't a Sebenza Love those CR knives.

Thanks guys. I just replaced the clip with the old style without the bump in the middle so it looks more smoother.

BTW, does anyone know why Chris Reeve changed the style of the clip for any benefit?

The bump in the middle of the clip was to give it a more secure purchase when clipped in the pocket.

Hard to go wrong with a Strider too!
