Here's my version of a pretty unique non-cataloged model. The Combat Companion is a compact and functional knife. I like the blade grind and it makes for a very practical size.

I ordered this one some years ago as my personal tribute to the US Air Force. As it happened, it arrived within months of my own retirement from the Air Force Reserve.

I had specified blue & aluminum spacers in order to personalize it in AF colors. This knife arrived as pictured, without the sawteeth I had originally specified. Upon contacting Randall about the oversight, the gentleman told me he'd happily add the sawteeth upon my return of the knife. In the conversation, he mentioned this was the only blue/aluminum spacer pattern they had done. He said it had something to do with the blue spacers not being easy to blend without causing problems. He said it wouldn't be done in the future either.

I'm not sure if this is actually one of a kind or not, but I like it. I've since added the sawteeth.

It has a stacked leather handle with finger grooves, nickel silver hilt and butt with wrist thong, and my favorite, the model 'C' sheath.

Wow. It sounds like you have a one-of-a-kind. Very nice. One of these days I need to pick up a leather-handled Randall.
