I picked this up at a local gun show a few weeks ago. It was still in the military issue package. The seller got a case of them at a government auction. They were not supposed to be auctioned off, and were sent out by mistake.

Well, it fits the barrel on my AR, but so far it is a safe piece. I can tell you that it is sharp.

Nice bayo papaac. I've been eyeing those for a while now. What did it set you back?

$95.00. It's made by Ontario Knife Company. There is a civilian model available, not sure if you can get the USMC issue anywhere,

Nice! I like the Eagle, globe and anchor in the handle.

I read a review a few years ago in Blade magazine that said it is one of the few bayonets they ever tried that actually worked well as a field knife.

It is like a Kabar fighting knife on steroids.
