The secret to getting Wilkins grips for cheap is buying them used. Patience, and constant scouring of the classifieds in the various knife fora.

I think I paid $35 for these a while ago.
Used, but they have character and a lot of life left in them.

I am ordering the satin natural titanium grip with orange spacer for one of my Mini RSKs.

For me, this knife is perfect in form and function except for the grips, so let's see how much closer to perfect Kevin Wilkins can make it.

I will update when I get the grips.

Got the same email about him being sick. He must be feeling better now. Got another email from him this morning, payment sent and grips should ship out Monday.

I think you'll like it a lot. My small Ritter that is set up like that is one of the most perfect knifes I own, for me anyway. The size, weight, ergonomics, and action are great.

As cool as the large Ritter Ti scales are, they are really too wide and heavy. Check out AWT scales for the large Griptillians. Those are more cost effective too and still greatly improve the knife. I've posted some more detailed info on the AWT and Wilkins scales here: http://www.bladeforums.com/thr...lian-scales.1491706/

Definitely keep an eye out for used Wilkins scales. I bought my large Ritter with the scales for $225. The knife itself was new and the scales were lightly used. It's still not cheap but I definitely saved a few bucks. The small I set up with all new stuff and don't regret it.
