I finally got around to finishing up this D2 KANELL series knife. The knife is 11 1/2" over all with a blade length of 6 1/2". Scales are African black wood with green malachite and nickel silver trim. Copper pins. File work on the spine. Hand rubbed satin finish. This D2 is pretty tough stuff. Let me know what you think.

That file work is neat. How did you get the spine side of the handle to mate with the wood? Did you use some sort of black "goop" and then affix the scales?

I use 2 ton epoxy by Devcon mixed with black powder pigmet. I dry fit all the pieces to make sure they all match up properly and then very carefully glue everything up. It is a little tricky.
