I know we have a lot of GA members. Just want some help on what I can carry as far as knives go and what I can't.

There was a topic regarding the laws in GA on Arfcom a couple weeks back. I let my membership lapse, so I can't search effectively. Possibly someone else is a paid member and can provide a link, but the jest of it is, it's illegal to carry a knife of any length concealed. Open carry is permitted (I think if the blade is under 3").
This info was linked from GA code by DKing. He and I discussed it at length a couple months ago. That said, I've carried daily for at least 15 years with no issue. You're unlikely to get charged with it outright, but it certainly could be an add on charge if arrested for something more egregious . |

I have read the laws with links at Ask.com and Google and they make no sense. If I am reading this right as long as I don't hide it I am okay except in the usually restricted areas. Only in Atlanta(where you need one the most)the blade can't be over 3" and locking.
