Anyone have one of the older models -- 1998. Manual, not automatic. They aren't manufactured anymore. How do you like it?

I have two, but I rarely carry either one anymore. I carried it for sometime, and actually bought another to have as a spare. Then I bought a small sebenza and haven't carried either one since.

They are good knives, sleek and slim and sharper than hell. The only thing I don't like about them is the clip is at the opposite end of the handle ( the clip is at the blade pivot end rather than at the handle end). My sebenza has the clip at the butt end of the handle so it's carried with the tip up and I like that orientation better.

I think you'll be happy with it, and I suppose I could get someone to switch the clip for me, but I'll stick with my sebenza for now.
Regards,
Sean

One of the best knives in it's class. Somebody put a lot of thoughts into this knife. It has one of the best blade length / grip length ratio and is lighter and nicer made then a Benchmade in the same class. I really like Emerson knives, but they look like a screwd up when they are compared to a Microtec Mini Socom.

best regards, Daniel
