#64 is going to be a good day. Even though it is December 30, my wife, Maggie, let me know what she is getting me. She knows how I hate surprises and also wanted to make me crazy (ier) for two months.

Very nice. The Comm, especially the miniComm is a favorite folder of mine. While not everyone likes the Wave feature, that does make it fast on deployment. The auto will fill and interesting niche.

Kershaw has come a long way from some rather humble beginnings many years ago. Their collaborations have really brought them along.

Very good taste in knives Hal Smile. This is one rugged knife. I am real happy with the heat treat on the D2 based on my hours of putting an edge on this guy. Thanks again.

I would weigh it when I get home but I do not have a scale that could accurately weight it.

Hal,

!!!! Happy Birthday !!!!

. . . and cool knife. You sound just like my wife. She hates suprises, so I always end up going out and getting her exactly what she tells me to get her. My only request is that she pretends to be suprised.

"Oh, is that for me? It's just what I always wanted!" Big Grin

Take care and enjoy that knife.

Peace at home is a good thing. Big Grin

I must also write that my birthday is not until the 30th of December so this present was quite typical of her. Early and generous. (Don't go there, guys. Wink)

I am hoping to have 7000 posts by then and put up a Karma for twenty ten .
Still, thanks for your good wishes.

Hal shoot me an email with your schedule and we can work something out. I would like to get some pistol shooting in before it gets too cold.

All 13.1 ounces of craftsmanship arrived today. The grand tour starts tomorrow and when that is finished, who knows. It is too nice a knife to keep in storage.
Thanks Mike for a great knife. I appreciate the time you put into it and the sheath.
