Picked this up for less than the price of a new 2017 model.
Right around 50 years old (made in 65-69) and looks like it came right out of the store.
The dye/jigging on the bone scales is easy to pick out when it's lying next to some newer knives.
I'm a huge Case fan, and have a decent collection of 70's and early models. The newer models do little for me, same deal for Smith & Wesson revolvers.
Pics or it didn't happen....
Isn't it great to find something special like that? Beautiful knife.

Love the old Case knives, you are right, the new ones are well, not the same..

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." -- C.S. Lewis
