here is a shot where you can see the orange liner a little better. also have a tiny one ready to grind. about 6.0" overall. not sure if i want to add a handle or make it a small, skeletonized model for easy carry.

How about natural rough-out leather with thick red stitches that lock it into the finger notch. A couple coats of snow seal to darken it...

that is a cool idea. i may have to try that out when i get some nice thick leather.
