I've got a Pterodactyl that I really like. Has a hefty feel, feels to be built pretty well. G10 scales and N690 cobalt vanadium blade that's sharp like a mother. Not sure how this blade compares to others but it hasn't rusted nor needed sharpening yet. I do use it moderately but haven't any doubts that it would perform if need be.

MEGA receiver AR15 carbine.
MEGA AR15 lower build in progress.
PWA Commando preban AR15 carbine.
Beretta 92FS

I concur. I'm no knife expert, but I have one that I think is well built and has a sharp blade.

A good knife, just not very pretty IMO.

I have a couple that I got on a massive clearance one day at the Sig Academy. They're actually pretty nice. Big and hefty, but not bad overall.

Good knives, but not great.

N690 is a 440C equivalent. Nothing wrong with it at all, but it has been eclipsed by many others. It will be more rust resistant than many steels, but not be as tough or good at holding an edge.

SIG isn't, of course, making these knives. Why not buy knives from knife makers and cut out the middleman?

I have one of those skeleton folders and I really like it. I wouldn't reccomend buying from sig though as they want close to 140 for it last time I checked. I have seen them more then once for 50 or so from dealers. I got mine for about 45 from a local one here.

I think for the money you are better off going with a Benchmade or Spyderco.
