YES!!!

----------------------------------------------------
Now you will receive us. We do not ask for your poor, or your hungry. We do not want your tired and sick. It is your corrupt we claim. It is your evil that will be sought by us. With every breath we shall hunt them down. Each day, we will spill their blood till it rains down from the skies.

Do not kill, do not rape, do not steal, these are principles that every man of every faith can embrace. These are not polite suggestions, these are codes of behavior and those of you that ignore them will pay the dearest cost. There are varying degrees of evil, we urge you lesser forms of filth not to push the bounds and cross over, into true corruption, into our domain.

For if you do, one day you will look behind you and you will see we three. And on that day, you will reap it. And we will send you to whatever god you wish.

I got one of the S5LEs, and glad I did.

I am not a fan of Res-C handles, but this one feels different. Perhaps the mudder indentations help, but I'm glad I grabbed one of them.

I can't find the scrapper 5 anywhere. Did they make a limited amount or discontinue them? It is the perfect size. 6 is to big and the 4's are a little small. Anyone know where I could pick one up I would appreciate it (besides ebay for $150)

They (Busse/SwampRat/ScrapYard) have a business model that operates like this:

-Announce a knife
-Place the knife for sale on the company website
-Take orders for a non-specified amount of time
-Announce the end of the order period
-Produce said knife
-Ship to buyers

This works fairly well, except when you want a knife that's already been offered, sold, and "discontinued".

To get a knife that's not currently for sale, your options are-
1. eBay (there are some up for auction right now)
2. Blade Forum's traderboard. They have a dedicated Busse-Kin knife section
3. Other trader boards. I've seen Scrapper 5's for sale on Arf.com's trader on occasion
4. A special Busse sale event. The "Ganza" which occurs a couple times a year where an online sale of some "discontinued" models occurs. Check Bladeforums for details.
5. The Busse-kin does set up a Knob Creek and several gun & knife shows. I know in addition to Knob Creek, they've done Blade in Atlanta, the Easton Gun & Knife Show in Easton, PA, and Blade West this year.

The down side to the above, other than the Ganzas and the shows is that you will pay an aftermarket "mark up" for these knives.

Good luck in your hunt.

Oh, and register on Scrap Yard's forums...you'll hear about new releases there first.
