So, his second rodeo at the Bellagio.

He must have thought it was an easy mark.

I'm sure LVMPD is happy to comp the bullet. Happy ending for us and too bad for the dirtbag...not one shred of GAF on my part.

Well, he almost did get away with it again. His escape plan was pretty poorly thought out though. Not to mention his misfortune of having a group of cops hanging out right outside.

How did this ass clown make it to as old as he was. All he had to do was make a right and walk away. No, this dumb fuck first tries to steal a car in front of 4 cops, and when that doesn't work, try to car jack a car in front of those 4 same cops.

Just Brilliant.

This appears to be yet another case where the general public and law enforcement have knowingly and deliberately been put at risk by the very system which ostensibly exists to protect them.

According to the full media briefing video mentioned by striker1 and linked by sigfreund in previous posts, the dead perp had a list of priors which included bank robbery-2 counts in 1999 in Nevada, bank robbery-2 counts in 2008 in Nevada, kidnapping, carjacking, possession of narcotics paraphernalia and possession of stolen property.

Why was he free to be able to rob the casino (possibly for the second time), attempt another carjacking and shoot a cop?

Started watching the briefing. OIS #4, fatal #1. Same time last year it was OIS #3, fatal #1. Was struck that RNshooter and his coworkers are doing too good a job patching the dirtbags up.

So the genius plan was to escape from the crime, by committing another crime. (had he just kept walking he'd probably gotten away with it) And do it while dressed almost exactly like he was the last time he did it. Roll Eyes

At least one officer appeared to have a reflex sight of some sort. Interesting.

It's a good thing the one officer that went around the rear of the vehicle was effective. The other three were a bit busy playing Twister.

Just spent a year and a half there. You have no idea of the level of police presence in that city. And they aren't taking crap from anyone. They are good at what they do. Moving to the sound of the guns.

As soon as I read about the robbery attempt - I knew it would be a failed one. Cameras are everywhere.

Great video.
