A couple of the more astute observations made in the article:

"Groups advocating against gun violence are questioning how the kids got into the safe."

"Beth Joslin Roth of the Safe Tennessee Project said she also wonders why an officer would have an AR-15 at school, given how imprecisely they are designed to fire."

"Imprecisely"?

Beth, you're an ignorant tool.

And yes, why would an officer charged with the safety of the students have the best tool available to him to take on an armed assailant.... Roll Eyes

Oh no Ms Roth - only at YOUR kids' school are there no firearms for protection, only whistles and phones.

Sentiment without action is the ruin of the soul.

Help, I'm having premonitions of future flashbacks.

Only in an insane world are the sane considered insane.

Some people listen to the noise of the world,
And some people listen to the quiet.

I would guess because their parents didn't raise them very well.

Somebody needs to email some targets showing “imprecisely fired” groups from an AR to Beth Joslin-Roth so she can see how ignorant of facts she really is.

Not that it would do any good.

Exactly this, but blame the gun because BLACK RIFLE BAD. It probably let itself out of the safe and left itself where children could find it.

I'm very discreet. I have no code of ethics. I will kill anyone, anywhere. Children, animals, old people, doesn't matter. I just love killing.

Perhaps it would be best if she would just be quiet, given how imprecisely spoken she is.

Being former studants, they may well be of age to be incarcerated as they probably were up to no good. Carelessness of the Guard also.

Beth Joslin-Roth: ""...not one that was designed by the military to kill them if you even knick them with it," she said"

She's an expert, isn't she?

The news report mentioned this was an elementary school. I'd like to see pictures of the safe.

She most likely thinks it's a machine gun too. Roll Eyes

None of these anti-gun types know a single thing about what they propose to ban for the rest of us, it's amazing!

I can't really blame Ms. Roth for holding that notion.

After watching so many movies and TV series wherein people fire hundreds of rounds at each other from AR's/M-4's, I have to take mine to the range for a couple hours to reassure myself as to their accuracy. Smile She might not have the same opportunity.
