I am looking for a 2 sided U channel gasket.
A rubber or plastic flexible kind with a plastic or metal core for rigidity so I can mate 2 pieces of 1/8" plastic together. The one would be a butt connection and look like.
Excuse the quick paint drawing.

Black is the plastic/rubber gasket material and the red is the 1/8" plastic.
It is like this stuff but accepts a piece on both sides.
https://www.amazon.com/Trim-Lo...38&s=gateway&sr=8-10

I used to use the stuff all the time in the metal shop I worked in I would cut a hole in the steel plate put the channel gasket in then put a plexiglass window in the hole. The gasket held the window in place.
Can't remember the name of the stuff.
Came in all different length rolls and thickness based upon the thickness of the materials it was mating.
Just need to make the two pieces without adhesive. No need to be water or air tight. Just a decently solid connection.

if you can use plastic, go to lowes or HD and look for FRP mouldings, divider strip and outside corner.

The ones listed are similar but not exact.
The trim lock looks to only come for 1/4” material and not 1/8”. I am going to check out the FRP stuff. Looks like it will work for most of my connections but there is one that curves and not sure if it is too rigid.
