This is part of a wiring harness for a set of Denali D2 Auxiliary lights that were on my recently totaled Triumph Scrambler. I'm going to use them as ditch lights on my 4RUNNER and I'd prefer not to cut up the harness. If I can find out what kind of connector this is, I could perhaps find the mating connector and be able to run this to a switch. Thanks.

Denali D2 Auxiliary lights

Its a Deutsch type Connector, the model number you'll have to find. They are used in all kinds of automotive applications.

You could contact the manufacturing company of the lights and ask about buying the other end of the connector, you'll also need the pins so you can crimp them on the wires before inserting into the housing.

You could always buy a new set of multi pin connector, cut off the old harness end and pin it for the new connector to give you a disconnect point on each light if you can't find the matching part.

HRK beat me to it. (thumbsup)

I'd recommend a look at Waytek for mates or similar components.

God bless America.

If anyone ever needs to find an automotive connector there is a place here in Houston that is awesome.

https://findpigtails.com/

I needed a connector for my wife's Nissan Xterra for a bunged up throttle body, looked everywhere, went to the dealer and even they recommended this place.
Found it and fixed her car and they got it to me faster that even going to get it on the other side of town.

FYI

I’m glad you found it quickly, but I want to ask what benefit is there to using the pigtail? Unless you will need to unplug and replug, I do t see the point. You’ll have to make a connection to the pigtail you buy, so why not just make that connection directly and eliminate the extra connection?

Alternately, I suppose it’s too late to cut the other end off of the totaled vehicle?

It makes it easier for me to disconnect in the event I need to service the unit, switch or any other unforeseen issue.
