I've been working at an airport for the last two years. Seeing 747s take off and land will never get old. I love that plane. Since August, I've been an inspector on the extension of a runway. This past fall, Trump, in that AF1, took off right over my head. It. Was. Awesome!

I take great satisfaction that every one of Trump's opponents watched that spectacular fly-by at the Daytona 500 and could do nothing about it.

I drove my Prelude on a banked track in a novice race, damned I was definitely a novice!

I beat the novice's against me but it sure was uncomfortable as I wasn't sure how my insurance would take it if there was an accident.

Any POTUS who (given the opportunity) would pass on doing a lap in The Beast is a kill-joy stick-in-the-mud. The driver probably has jaw cramps from smiling so biggly.

The job of President probably really sucks on a daily basis, so who can blame the guy for having a blast when the opportunity presents itself?

Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz told Breitbart News Sunday this weekend that billionaire left-wing financier George Soros told then-President Barack Obama to investigate someone.

Dershowitz would not identify who, precisely, the target of the investigation was, but said that the name would soon emerge in in a lawsuit that had yet to be filed.

Q: But let me just ask you — you said that George Soros asked Barack Obama to have his Justice Department investigate somebody?

Dershowitz: We’re — that’s going to come out in a lawsuit in the near future. Yeah

Q: Wow, well, we look forward to hearing more about that new.

Dershowitz: That’s not unusual. That is not unusual. People whisper to presidents all the time. Presidents whisper to [the] Justice Department all the time. It’s very common. It’s wrong, whoever does it, but it’s common, and we shouldn’t think that it’s unique to any particular president. I have in my possession the actual 302 form [an FBI record of an interview], which documents this issue, and it will, at the right time, come out. But I’m not free to disclose it now because it’s a case that’s not yet been filed.

In addition, Dershowitz reflected on his experience in the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump, noting that his argument had been grotesquely distorted by CNN — so much so that he could, if he wanted to, sue the network.

CNN — and House impeachment managers — claimed Dershowitz said that the president can do whatever he wants to do, as long as he claims to have believed he was acting in the public interest. Dershowitz had specifically said that criminal-like behavior was indeed impeachable.

Dershowitz also said that former Trump associate Roger Stone deserved a new trial, given new revelations about the extreme political bias of the jury foreperson, who opposed both Trump and Stone.

Moreover, Dershowitz said that if Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) won the Democratic presidential nomination, it might force him to leave the Democratic Party and campaign against him nationwide.

Waiting for the dominos to fall – in Trump’s second term
By Dawn Merrill

Have you ever seen one of those elaborate domino displays, where an intricate pattern of upright dominos has been patiently constructed over days, or even weeks, only to fall in seconds, or minutes, by the lightest touch at any juncture? They are a glorious sight to behold, elegant, beautiful, the result of meticulous planning and by-necessity perfection in execution. If, while constructing such a marvel, the smallest mistake is made, the entire structure collapses, and the endeavor must be started over.

But in politics, unlike in dominos, there may not be time to start over. And this brings us to the Deep State and the 2020 Presidential election.

For the last three, going on four, years, we have watched as a clearly dual system of justice has been applied to our governing class. Democrats and Leftists can do and say anything and get a slap on the wrist. Republicans and Conservatives, especially Trump-supporting Republicans and Conservatives, will be punished disproportionately for the slightest error, and without mercy. The rule of law, defined throughout our history as having been granted at the hands of our Creator, has been bifurcated and is becoming increasingly irrelevant. Meanwhile the rule of man ascends in direct contravention to the Founders intent.

Only one man, and one amazing phenomenon, stands now athwart the destruction of the American experiment. President Donald John Trump and the millions of us who stand behind him. Like him or hate him, he is the bulwark against socialism, communism, and the utterly destructive forces of the left. He is the domino that refuses to fall. His re-election is the only thing that will keep this country from going over the edge.

Moreover, President Trump’s re-election means the gloves come off. This is very, very important.

Donald J Trump the civilian clearly had dreams of the presidency from the time he was a young man. It’s all on record. But having never held office before being elected President, he was, frankly, a political neophyte. Expecting acceptance and cooperation, he was instead met with incredible animosity and refusal (since “resistance” must now be used in quotation marks). Despite having had his hands tied by nefarious never-Trumpers and Democrats, his every move challenged, President Trump has been an has been an extremely successful President. His largest flaw has been his lack of experience, showing most glaringly in poor staffing decisions. But this may be about to change and change yuuuugely. Because President Trump may have been a neophyte three years ago, but he most certainly isn’t now.

Which is why we must now wait. Wait as the dominos are being set up to fall. Why we must keep our faith. All we need to do is re-elect him, and it will be no more Mr. Nice Guy.

Think about this very carefully. We want to see, hope to see, and pray to see, the swamp drained and the Deep State neutralized. We want to have a ringside seat as every single coup-plotter and seditious traitor, from Obama and Clinton on down the line to the lowest unnamed “resistance” staffer, are set up like dominos to fall. And we want to see that feather-light touch that sends every last one of them falling in spectacular symmetry.

Thus far we have been sorely disappointed. We never expected to wait, because it all is so obvious… to us. We simply didn't understand the odds stacked against us at the time. We now realize that President Trump is a man striving to adhere to the rule of law in the face of abject refusal to do the same from nearly all sides; he soldiers on, but still we wait for justice. And waiting is agony. But it is also necessary. The rule of law demands proof beyond a reasonable doubt, and that, especially in the face of unrelenting hostility to truth, takes time.

We must now employ the Art of Patience.

We must wait for the elaborate domino display. Planning and execution must both be utter perfection to be viable. The slightest mistake sends us back to square one. We don’t have that kind of time unless we re-elect President Trump, and even that guarantees us no win, but certainly tips the odds in our favor. We must win in 2020. We will win in 2020. And when we do we may well be treated to the most beautiful falling domino display of all time. Have faith. Vote. Wait.

It was televised on the local Fox Channel. I didn't watch it on FS1.

from CTH

https://theconservativetreehou...osition/#more-183841

Nevada Democrat Club officials are warning voters the results from the caucus may be delayed due to “technology glitches” in the planned use of “custom Google calculator” that will be deployed to calculate the results.

the party announced Thursday that it planned to use a custom Google calculator accessed through a “secure Google web form,” which will be uploaded to 2,000 newly purchased iPads to help tabulate votes, and that precinct leaders would also track votes via paper backup sheets.

and Stacey Abrams pushing for VP

In a transparently planned appearance message Ms. Stacey Abrams says: “of course, I would be honored to run for vice president with the nominee.”

"it would be doing a disservice to every woman of color, every woman of ambition, every child who wants to think beyond their known space for me to say no. Or to pretend, ‘Oh no, I don’t want it.’ Of course, I want it. Of course, I want to serve America. Of course, I want to be a patriot and do this work, and so I say yes.”

You might remember the quiet discussions between Club reps for Joe Biden and Stacey Abrams last year. That was back when the DNC Club was considering Biden as the best hope to block the AOC-Bernie movement. Since then Joe has collapsed and is now unlikely to go further than South Carolina. [Biden will lose Nevada and SC].

If the Club is successful in blocking Bernie; which at this point is increasingly unlikely; and if the Club can find a way to get a non-Bernie candidate into lead position; then Abrams is absolutely guaranteed to be the VP candidate regardless of who the non-Bernie top of the ticket might be.

Abrams is the VP nominee for a NOT BERNIE candidate. However, if Bernie wins the nomination then the likelihood of Abrams as a VP nominee slightly drops.

If Bloomberg (or other) is the nominee Abrams is 100% guaranteed to be the VP. The plan would be to use Abrams to heal the fracture created by the Club blocking Bernie Sanders from the nomination.

However, if Bernie winds the nomination Abrams as VP drops to around 80% likelihood. In the Club’s logic – in the Sanders atop the ticket scenario – Abrams is used to offset Bernie’s radical nature and generate a ‘movement‘ vote for the identity crowd.

Abrams has about the same qualifications to be VP as my cat. With as much hyperventilating the Left did with what’s her name a couple elections back, obviously they do t take the position seriously.

Pure pandering, plain and simple.
