He is speaking at CPAC right now, taking ‘em to the woodshed good and proper.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Yeah, he's firing from both barrels. I've never seen him this passionate and focused.

Got in on the second half of it and wish I'd heard the whole speech. He was on point of what has to be said now. Great speech.

Hopefully it will be available on youtube later.

LaPierre has always come across to me as a woefully inadequate mouthpiece just because he's not very good on his feet in an impromptu situation.

Watching him on a news show or in front of congress is cringe-worthy.

One of the Fox commentators afterwards was saying that he was trying to inject fear into the base to get them fired up to support the cause.
The fear was ultimate goal and taking guns from Americans.
Can't say I disagree as that is always my fear.
Why I never trust a liberal.
So I guess it's working. Eek

The problem, as I see it, is that CPAC is "preaching to the choir."

In fact, most of the pro-2A comments and articles never make it to the ones who need to hear/read them the most.

You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.

I only saw a few minutes before I had to leave the house. I was impressed and look forward to watching it all. Definitely donation worthy for anyone that hasn’t yet signed up or donated.

The content of that speech was extremely good. Given the audience, it was somewhat surprising and very disappointing to hear the rather tentative responses to many of the outstanding points which were made.

I just now watched his speech, and thought he did a great job with it.

Loved him talking about armed security in Hollywood, jewelry stores, banks, and the capital itself, but these lousy socialists think it is a danger at schools.

Fucking elitists!! Mad

It is cynical, I know, but that audience is already on our side. And our opponents wouldn't listen to LaPierre if he warned them their coat was on fire.

It was a good speech. But we need to get out there with a message in the same way they do. Logical argument from Wayne LaPierre is not the answer.
