I wonder how they get the depth out of it?

I remember seeing my first hologram at the Smithsonian museum in DC around 1971.

There's no depth because they're 2D images made to look 3D. It's simply a thin LED display that rotates instead of being a large flat panel. Same tech can be purchased for wheels on cars or bicycles.

That's what I figured it to be. You can see it from the start when the thing starts rotating.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Saw some guys on the boardwalk with something similar on their wheels. Pretty cool actually.

Imagine it on you car wheels and looking like laser cannons. Big Grin
