Anyone ever owned a pair of Royer shoes/boots?

Never heard of them till today. Looking them over, can't say I'm in love with the styling on most of them, or the moulded on soles. But many of their models seem to be made in Canada, which beats the hell out of China, or Vietnam etc etc.

Anyone owned a pair?

I haven’t owned a pair, but they have pretty great ratings. They use Vibram soles, so that is definitely a plus. Not sure what type if boot you’re looking for, but Osolo makes a pretty damn good boot also. Based out of Italy, made in Romania. If you register with the Italian website, they have a 40% off deal every month. Shipping to the US is about $15. I have a couple pairs unworn, sitting in the closet, waiting for the current pair to wear out.

Back on topic, I would have no issues giving Royer a shot.

Really looking more towards work boots.

Keeping on the side track though, how are the Romanian boots? I occasionally look at Scarpas, some made in Italy, some Romania.

Osolo's tend to run narrow from what I gather. My feet are right in the middle, depending on the maker, D's tend to be too narrow, EE's too wide. (I have a pair of Thorogood's that are E's and perfect, but they no longer make them.)

I have the same thing with Asolo shoes, spares in a box in the closet. You can get them pretty cheap from Sierra.com too.
