"Does it bother you that Biden's VP pick will be chosen by "skin color & gender" instead of character!?!"

Biden:

It's been six years since Michael Brown's life was taken in Ferguson — reigniting a movement. We must continue the work of tackling systemic racism and reforming policing.

According to the survey, 59 percent of likely voters believe that the presidential hopeful’s running mate would take the reins from Biden during his first term. Of those, 39 percent believe the hypothetical scenario is “very likely.”

so Biden's VP choice will have a big impact on voters.

and yet the same survey reported "Only 45 percent indicated that the selection is important"

The VP selection could fire up some of the DEM base, and it could discourage other parts of the DEM base.

It could also fire up REP voters even more (if that's possible).

A DEM VP candidate like Kamala Harris or Susan Rice might get out more of the REP vote.

It's nearly a universally known fact to everyone (except maybe Joe Biden himself) that this may be the most important VP pick ever since it's almost guaranteed that she would take over as President during the first term should Biden win. And yet, Biden is choosing his VP based solely on race and gender. How grossly juvenile, racist, and outright dangerous these democrats are.

Sleepy Joe and his VP pick will both be puppets and if he can't continue and the presidency goes to the VP, likely nothing substantial will change. One puppet to the next.

The latest Dem take on why Kamala should go away. It's an excerpt; as is so often the case the Dem who wrote it had to go off in several different directions before getting to the point in the last few paragraphs.

quote:
Why Joe Biden And Kamala Harris Would Be A Distasterous Duo In The Year Of George Floyd
Ruben Navarette Jr., Opinion Columnist, USA Today, Aug. 10, 2020

Biden-Harris. This is a match made in, well, about as far from heaven as you can get. More like a public execution.

Remember that racist 1994 crime bill that Biden championed and defended for so many years? The same crime bill that fueled the mass incarceration that decimated the African American community in the United States? Well, it was that bill that gave Harris the bricks to build her own political career on the West Coast.

According to many legal experts, Harris was not the fabled "progressive prosecutor" she pretends to be. While she was San Francisco's district attorney, lawyers who worked for her were routinely accused of prosecutorial misconduct and cutting corners to rack up convictions ven if some innocent people went to jail. About this, she did nothing.

She seems to have decided early on that, as a Black woman, the only way to climb the ladder politically in the Golden State was to reassure white liberal donors that she could protect them and their belongings from people who looked like her. It worked. She rose all right - on the backs of the less connected: the poor, the dispossessed, people of color.

Biden-Harris 2020? That's not the ticket. As anyone who has been paying attention already knows, the theme of this rotten year is racial justice. America needs a fix to our criminal justice system, not another glaring reminder of just how broken it really is.

President Trumps TV ad campaign is going to be (had BETTER be) EPIC! Too bad I don't watch network TV and I don't believe any of those ads will be aired over the NHL App. Big Grin
